Dozens of migrants found in locked shipping container in English port

Seven people have been taken to hospital after being found in a locked container with dozens of other immigrants at a port in the east of England, emergency services said Friday morning.
The container was found Thursday night at an Essex port and emergency services said seven of the 68 were taken to hospital suffering from abdominal and chest pain. None are in a serious or threatening condition, East of England Ambulance service said in a statement.
The other 61 people, who are thought to be from a number of countries, were released to UK Border Agency officials.
Two pregnant women are among the seven who were taken to hospital from the container, which is reported to have arrived from the Netherlands, according to The Essex County Standard.
Last year, 35 people were found in a container at Tilbury Docks in Essex, among them 40-year-old Meet Singh Kapoor from Afghanistan who died on the journey.
Reports from that incident said the people were found screaming and banging after the container arrived in the port from Belgium.
