Mikel Set To Quit Stamford Bridge

John Obi Mikel could be heading for the Stamford Bridge exit door this summer. Chelsea have already received offers for the Nigeria international from Turkish side Fenerbahce, and United Arab Emirates club Al Ain. The midfielder has been at Chelsea since joining from Lyn Oslo in 2006 but has become a fringe player after struggling to reach his potential at Stamford Bridge, and started just 13 games this season. Meanwhile, Jose Mourinho is having to reconsider his summer transfer targets after new Real Madrid coach Rafa Benitez promised to make Raphael Varane a key part of his plans. The France international defender has always been Jose Mourinho’s first choice to strengthen his backline but Varane looks certain to remain at the Bernabeu
