Airport authorities have reported the death of a man who stowed away on a British Airways aircraft and fell on a roof as the jet approached London Heathrow Airport o Friday.
A second man who was hiding in the undercarriage of the plane was hospitalised with injuries, the airline said.
The incident involved a flight from Johannesburg to London, a journey of more than 6,000 miles, 12 hours, and the man fell out of the plane on Thursday, landing on he roof of a building in Richmond in the southwest area of London.
The Metropolitan Police of London said it would be launching an investigation, just as British Airways said it was working with authorities in the two countries to get more facts.
