CALL IT passion, strong feelings, a crush or infatuation . . .
Some people do really crazy things for love!
Although many are able to control their feelings and keep it to themselves, some simply can’t.
Just imagine – you get home to find acrazy individual in your house who has broken thehinges off the door to get in.
And then she paints her name and “I love you” on the walls! Then, the same person goes out to spray their name on your car in the garage.
That really happened to the famous Chris Brown recently.
But he is not alone . . .
A 26-year old celeb, Camille Cottin, spent two nights in a UK jail after climbing up the gates of Kensington Palace in high heels, demanding to marry Prince Harry.
But this madness is not only far away – there are many stories of “love stalkers”. And some people go as far as using weird “love potions”.
Just recently our sister publication  was abuzz with stories of women using something called“mabhebeza” to keep men glued to them.
SunBuzz will now look at thereally weird things some people do to find love or get married – and make their feelings known to their “prey”.
We also asked some of you on Facebook, if you know some crazy and funny tricks people get up to in the name of love.
Prepare to be amazed by these incredible stunts!
-A Russian staged his death for a marriage proposal. Just after paramedics broke news of his death, the seemingly lifeless body proposed marriage!
-A guy underwent surgery to look exactly like his crush. And the woman had no choice but to give her hand in marriage.
-A man got his friend to shoot him so his crush would sympathise with him and love him more.
-Another gent carved his lover’s name on his arm with a knife.
-Many weep about lost love in a YouTube video, and also on Facebook for the crush to see it.
-One bloke designed a dating website using his crush’s name and filled it with lovey-dovey photos of the girl and himself, and posted dozens ofsweet-nothing messages.
-Strange but true: Some absolutemaniac killed his wife and kids to prove how much he loved his nyatsi.
-Men robbed banks and claimed they did it for their girlfriend.
-Then there are those who stripnaked and run down the highway with a banner bearing the name of their love.
-Some cut off their tattoos and mail it to their crush!
-Wearing very high heels – well, I’ve yet to see a guy say no to a girl in sky-high heels.
How was it for you?
-Charlie Anderson: “I used to write love letters and sometimes when my crush went to church, I would startgoing too.”
-Vuyolwethu Maseme: “A chickharassed my girlfriend and I for months. I had never met her and didn’t know her at all. But she claimed we were in a relationship.
“She made death threats and said she would list my actual girlfriend on the credit bureau, because she worked at some bank or other. It was crazy, and we broke up!”
-Nonela Khoza: “I used to have a crush on Buti Manamela! I followed him on Facebook, inboxed him and asked for a date. He said okay, but we never got to meet and I grew out of it.”
Everyone of us has done something silly when we were infatuated. Maybe it was to serenade him/her, or buyreally expensive gifts – or surprise him/her with balloons or flowers, or even put on a stupid costume like agorilla suit. Love makes us crazy!
