Cops: Drunk Woman Stabs Neighbor With Rake for Calling 911 Over Loud Sex

Cops: Drunk Woman Stabs Neighbor With Rake for Calling 911 Over Loud Sex
According to the Kingsport Times-News, a Tennessee woman and her sex/crime partner were arrested for aggravated assault last week after the couple allegedly attacked a neighbor who reported their noisy boning to police.
Authorities say Erin Brooke Lawson, 32, and Johnny Allen Richards, 33, assaulted neighbor Mark Galin last Tuesday for calling 911 twice to complain about their loud sex.
After Hawkins County Sheriff’s Office deputies left the residence in Rogersville for the second time, Richards and Lawson allegedly attacked Galin at his apartment door.
As detailed in a police report, Galin told a deputy that Lawson “hit him with a rake and broke the handle.” She then allegedly stabbed him in the arm with the jagged handle. Richards, Galin added, struck him with a “2x2 stick.”
Deputy Kenneth Ferguson reported finding blood on the end of the rake handle, and observed “several lacerations” on Galin that were consistent with his account of the incident. The stick was also recovered.
According to police, Lawson, who they say was intoxicated, later injured her head falling in the drunk tank.
Since 2001, the couple has reportedly been arrested a collective 76 times on charges of drug trafficking, theft, domestic assault, stalking, failure to appear, public intoxication, burglary, drug possession, casual exchange of drugs, contempt of court and “a variety of driving offenses.”

Orlando Police Dog Mangled Arm of Child Allegedly Breaking Into School

An Orange County attorney has said Orlando police used excessive force against his client, a 12-year-old boy accused of breaking into an elementary school, who was badly mauled by a police dog, News 13 reports.
Police arrested the boy earlier this month, with two others, after they broke into Shingle Creek Elementary School, according to News 13. Authorities say they ordered the three boys to stop and get on the ground; two complied, and the third, they say, did not. In response, they set the police dog on him.
The boy, who turned 13 on Friday, spent three days in the hospital. Now, he has to return to the doctor on a weekly basis to check for nerve damage. Bradley Laurent, his attorney, told the Orlando Sentinel that his arm is still too swollen to diagnose.
“This kid is going to need extensive rehab,” Laurent said, counting three separate bites. “There’s no telling if he needs surgery to repair any nerve damage, and he may need plastic surgery.” News 13 reports that the stolen items were school supplies.
According to the Sentinel, the two other boys also charged in the burglary say that their friend had stopped and was complying with officers when the dog attacked him.
“It shouldn’t have happened,” Laurent told News 13. “No matter what they were doing in terms of being on the property, that didn’t warrant harming anyone.”
“I would imagine that they have enough training to restrain a 12-year-old. I don’t see why it would be necessary to release a dog. A dog that you know is going to cause some serious injury.”

Dallas Police in Standoff with Gunman After Shootout at Headquarters

Dallas police are in a standoff and attempting to negotiate with a gunman in an armored vehicle after a shootout outside their headquarters, the Dallas Morning Newsreports. No injuries have been confirmed, but the assailant, who identified himself as James Boulware, told police he’d been wounded.
According to the News, two explosive devices, which police described as pipe bombs, were found near Jack Evans Police Headquarters. One exploded when a bomb squad tried to use a robot to remove it.
The shootout began around 12:30 a.m. this morning. Boulware fired at police cruisers from gun ports in his armored van, wounding no one. The shootout began outside police headquarters and moved to the parking lot of a Jack in the Box restaurant after the Boulware fled, the New York Times reports. There, police disabled the vehicle.

“The suspect has told our negotiator that we took his child and that we accused him of being a terrorist and that he’s going to blow us up, and then cut off negotiations,” Dallas Police Chief David Brown told reporters. “We cannot confirm a motive at this time.”
From the News:
Authorities cautioned that they have not confirmed the man is who he says he is. But in 2013, police in Paris, Texas, said they arrested James Lance Boulware after he obtained firearms, ammunition and body armor before threatening to attack his family, as well as churches and schools.
Police said then that he was taken into custody on two felony warrants from Dallas County. However, it appears the case against him was dismissed last year after he fulfilled requirements a judge had imposed.
Boulware appears to have been driving a armored van similar to this one, recently sold on Ebay: a modified Ford 3-door van listed by Jenco Sales Inc., a Georgia company, for $8,250.

Via the News, here is a description of the vehicle posted to Facebook (since deleted):
Zombie Apocalypse Assault Vehicle and Troop Transport. This full armored zombie busting vehicle features convenient gun ports so no zombie juice touches you during a mass zombie take down. It also has benches in the back so you can take turns resting during long Zombie sieges. The tactical step boards are installed for when you only need swords and axes for drive by mow downs. The bumpers are made of reinforced steel tubing, so no dents from smashing zombie heads! It’s full armor plated and has bullet proof windows just in case you run into other zombie hunting hordes who might try to take this bad boy from you. Like anything, there is a price attached to this fine piece of zombie fighting machinery.
Witnesses reported that as many as four people were involved in the shooting, including one person who did not make it back to the van and is still on the loose. Brown said police had not yet confirmed the number of assailants.

Outlaw Country Singer Killed In Shootout With Bounty Hunter

Outlaw Country Singer Killed In Shootout With Bounty Hunter
The Associated Press reports that outlaw country singer Randy Howard was killed on Tuesday in a shootout with a bounty hunter. The bondsman had come to detain the singer after he missed a court appearance.
Tennessee Bureau of Investigation spokesman Josh DeVine told the AP that there was a warrant out for Howard charging him with fourth-offense DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm while intoxicated and driving on a revoked license.
When the bounty hunter showed up at his Lynchburg, Tennessee home, Howard opened fire, DeVine said. The bounty hunter returned fire, killing Howard. The bounty hunter was reportedly struck by a bullet as well but is expected to recover.
The TBI is investigating whether the bounty hunter acted appropriately in entering Howard’s home, where, WSMV Nashville reports, he had a right to defend himself.
According to SavingCountryMusic.com, Howard had performed with the likes of Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Charlie Daniels, and Hank Williams Jr.
“He said he wasn’t going back to jail,” Howard’s friend and neighbor Terry Dotsonsaid. “That’s what he told me.”
